History of the Sun Cities 4 Paws Bargain Boutique
Founded in 1996, the Sun Cities 4 Paws Bargain Boutique & Upscale Thrift Store began as a small volunteer-run shop in Youngtown supporting the rescue efforts of Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue. Thanks to community support and donations, the store has expanded into three suites and now operates with both dedicated volunteers and part-time staff.
The Bargain Boutique remains one of the rescue’s primary funding sources, with proceeds helping to provide food, medical care, shelter, and daily necessities for hundreds of homeless cats and kittens each year. Community donations of clothing, furniture, household goods, pet supplies, and monetary gifts directly support the rescue’s lifesaving work.
