Spay and Neuter Fund
~Every cat and kitten that comes through our doors is sterilized prior to adoption- no exceptions!~
We aim to be part of the solution to the overpopulation problem in Maricopa County, and we sterilize close to 1000 each year! Sterilizing cats and kittens is one of the most powerful ways to prevent homelessness and suffering. One unspayed female and her offspring can produce hundreds of kittens in just a few years—many born into illness, hunger, or danger. Spay/neuter protects their health, reduces unwanted behaviors, and directly lowers shelter overcrowding. It’s simple, humane, and lifesaving.
Permanent and Temporary Foster Fund
The Permanent and Temporary Foster Fund is for older or medical needs cats and those needing to lose weight or recover from various surgeries. Because of donors like you, we are able to place cats with medical needs that require special monitoring or a longer recovery time in homes, instead of having to stay in the shelter.

Sometimes we get cats that take longer to find their 'person'. As a 'No-Kill' shelter, they stay with us until they are adopted or forever and they are cared for, socialized and shown love. We have had cats that were with us for years find their perfect home, so we know it happens!
